Where did you grow up?
Seattle, WA
Position prior to Kenan-Flagler:
Hardware Design Engineer at IBM
MBA Concentration:
Management Consulting
Undergraduate Institution:
University of Washington
Summer 2013' Internship Tata Consultancy Services, Business Associate Intern
Why did you choose Kenan-Flagler? I chose Kenan-Flagler because of the genuine support from the faculty and staff and the collaboration between students.
How will you make an impact while at Kenan-Flagler? For 2nd year students, how will you make an impact after your time at Kenan-Flagler? My impact will be on the Kenan-Flagler brand. I plan on moving to the west coast where the Kenan-Flagler brand isn’t as recognized. Through my participation and networking at community and professional events I will advocate for Kenan-Flagler. I also plan to promote Kenan-Flagler recruitment in my future employment, return to campus to participate in events, and act as a resource for current students, providing mentorship and career guidance.
What has been your most memorable moment at Kenan-Flagler? Meeting my legacy members at orientation, it was as if we were hand-picked the way we all bonded.
Post-MBA Career Goals: To start a career in consulting and branch off into opening my own consulting firm. Also, I am working on a business Idea that I hope works out (remember the name Peergo).
What three words best describe you and why? Determined, because I have goals in mind and don’t stop until I have reached it. Honest, I always try to be as transparent and honest as possible because things are easier to do when you have trust. Resourceful, even is something is impossible, I look into every possible option and figure out a way to solve the issue at hand.
How will you define success within the MBA program? Success for me is defined by the transition that I have made in the past year and a half. I have learned so much in this program that has helped turn me into a leader. Another way to benchmark success is by being able to turn an idea into a successful and profitable product or business.
