Where did you grow up?
Brooklyn, NY
Position prior to Kenan-Flagler:
Associate Analyst, Moody's Investment Service
MBA Concentration:
Marketing, Sustainable Enterprise, Nonprofit Leadership
Why did you choose Kenan-Flagler? I chose Kenan-Flagler primarily because of the collaborative culture. Additionally, I knew that the Leadership Initiative would help me to transform into the future business leader that I hoped to be.
As a 2nd year student, how will you make an impact after your time at Kenan-Flagler? As one of the few students headed out west, specifically to southern California, I plan to serve as one of the school’s Alumnae Class Representatives. I will help us continue to establish our brand on the West Coast by attending admissions recruiting events and engaging with prospective students. I also plan to collaborate with other Kenan-Flagler alumni at Nestle to help make UNC a core school for the Marketing Associate Program.
What has been your most memorable moment at Kenan-Flagler? Thus far, my most memorable moment at Kenan-Flagler was the Fall 2013 Carolina Women In Business Conference. I served as Team Lead of the Women’s Initiative Dean’s Fellow Project Team that recommended moving the conference to the fall. As CWIB President, I was speechless after seeing attendance rise over 60 percent from the previous conference which took place just eight months prior.
Summer Internship (Company and Position): Nestle USA, MBA Marketing Intern
Post-MBA Career Goals: In the short-term, my goal is to continue to gain marketing experience to diversify my functional background. In the long-term, I plan to become a general manager of an innovative, socially responsible company or run my own social enterprise.
What three words best describe you and why? Passionate, Driven, and Dedicated
How will you define success within the MBA program? I define success within the MBA program by the impact that I am able to make within the UNC Kenan-Flagler community.
