I have spent the past 10+ years working in Brand Management for several consumer-packaged goods and retail companies including: Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo/Tropicana, Walt Disney World and Lowe’s Home Improvement.
How has Kenan-Flagler prepared you for your career?
Kenan-Flagler has provided me with the tools needed to make a successful transition from the Engineering field into Brand Management. My experience during business school enhanced my skill set and gave me a much broader business perspective to excel in marketing.
What is your current profession?
I am a Brand Manager with the Bakery division of Lance, Inc. where I manage 10 product lines within the Drug, Dollar and Convenience Store Channels
What are your future career goals?
My future career goals are to become the head of a marketing for a major consumer packaged goods company.

The UNC Kenan-Flagler network has afforded me the opportunity to tap into the experience of other Kenan-Flagler Alum for thought partnership, career guidance and job opportunities.
What does the Consortium mean to you?
The Consortium has been an invaluable resource for connecting with other people of color within the brand management field. The opportunities to serve incoming Consortium students and network with other Consortium Alum are priceless.
What is an interesting fact about yourself that you would like to share?
I am passionate about marketing and brand management and enjoy helping others achieve their career goals. I launched a marketing company several years ago, TimbreMarketing.com, that works with individuals to build their own personal brand to help distinguish them from the competition.
